Glenbrook Primary School Vision

Head Of School - Funmi Alder

Glenbrook Primary School is committed to being an outstanding learning community in which all children achieve their full potential within an inclusive and empowering environment, with outstanding provision for personal and social development and wellbeing - enabling all children to become self-motivated, innovative and successful learners.

Ten Point Plan of Action to achieve our Vision

1. We are a learning community; all stakeholders - adults and children – are learners who also have strengths to utilize for the benefit of the school.

2. Our priorities are focused on raising attainment and accelerating progress.

3. All resources are allocated in line with our priorities - enabling the school to achieve its vision.

4. Our ethos and environment are conducive to the delivery of a high quality curriculum, and the children's and adults' emotional wellbeing.

5. We demonstrate a commitment to equality of opportunity, ensuring that all groups of children achieve their full potential, and we deal with any form of discrimination actively and swiftly.

6. We offer a curriculum that is broad, balanced, stimulating and exciting, with a strong global perspective - encouraging creativity and opportunities for expression.

7. The curriculum is focused on developing the children's key skills, particularly the skills of communication, collaboration and enquiry - equipping them for an ever changing world.

8. We meet the needs of all children through a personalised approach to learning, with every child's progress carefully measured and tracked, and individual targets regularly set and reviewed.

9. We involve parents in ongoing discussions about their children's progress, and how they can support their children's learning.

10. Glenbrook Primary School strives to be an outstanding hub of the Clapham Park community - with strong, empowering local involvement and support - including enticing extended schools facilities, and enabling family learning opportunities.

It takes a village to raise a child.
