I am delighted to welcome you to the Glenbrook Primary School website which will provide you with a greater understanding of our school’s vision and give you an insight into our school’s successes and the exciting opportunities our pupils have to develop into intelligent, creative and ambitious young learners.
We have high expectations of all our children, and expect every group to make outstanding progress in their learning. We are extremely proud of the fact that our school population is multi-ethnic and diverse and we promote a global curriculum that reflects the range of cultures within our school.
Our dynamic and supportive team of staff offer a personalised education for each child, using creative methods and a cross-curricular approach to inspire our pupils and develop a passion for learning. Our approach ensures we cater for the needs, talents and interests of every child and our staff’s dedication is reflected in the quality of their teaching. Indeed, we have a very strong team of teaching staff.
Our happy and stimulating learning environment is further enhanced by the extensive extra-curricular opportunities we offer our pupils – this is made possible by the fantastic facilities and resources we have access to, including an abundance of outdoor space.
It is our mission to deliver excellence in all areas of school life; we are confident our pupils will reach and exceed their potential with us in an atmosphere that encourages respect, good manners and a positive ethos from each individual.
We are committed to ensuring we have regular communication with parents and carers, encouraging your child to learn inside and outside of school. Our structured Family Learning Programme equips parents and carers with the methods and techniques they need to support their child at home and the programme has gone from strength to strength.
